Starting Your Hands-On Training

Now, that you’ve completed your online lessons, you are ready to begin your hands-on training. We require that you complete 50 hours of training. If you have chosen to complete the course entirely online, you will need to complete the hours log provided below. In the hours log, you will need to record your findings and treatments that you did. You will also need to include the horse’s name and have the owner sign off on your work.

You are welcome to submit a video link to any work that you are doing with the horse owner’s permission for your instructors to review and provide feedback. After completion of your 50 hours of hands-on time, you are ready to schedule your final exams.

Please note: Because this is clinical time, you should not be marketing yourself as an equine massage practitioner nor accepting payment for these hours.
