Directional Terms & Regions of the Body
In this lab, we will be discussing the directional terms associated with the horse’s body and regions of the horse’s body. It is important to know both because the terminology that you will use will vary depending on your audience. Veterinarians and other professionals will often use directional terms and more anatomical terms; whereas, most horse owners will know and understand regions of the body and layman’s terms. Knowing both will certainly serve you well in your profession. You will find the lab lecture and handouts associated with both: the directional terms and the regions of the body.
