Sarah Auchard

Sarah’s experience in the equine industry is extensive and spans over 40 years. She has earned her USDF Bronze Medal and holds her BS/BA degree in business management and and MBA in Marketing. Her diverse background has enabled her to marry her 2 passions of business and horses. Her greatest love, however, is her family.

Greg Auchard

G. A. Auchard is a retired paramedic and farrier and co-founder of SAGA Farm & Sporthorses LLC with his wife Sarah and their daughters. He has spent over sixty years with horses, dogs, cats, chickens, kids, and other critters and has developed insights into their training and development the old fashioned way; by experience.

Audrey Auchard

Audrey started her equine journey as a toddler. She quickly learned that her best friends had 4 legs. She has been in the competition ring for over 15 years, most recently in Dressage. In addition to her showring accolades, Audrey is certified in Equine Massage and teaches in the SAGA Equine Massage Certification Program.

Amelia Auchard

Amelia began her riding career on a little white mini named Snow. She and Snow were named “High Point Champions” for 3-years running in Showmanship and Flat Classes. She has gone on to numerous accomplishments in cross-country, dressage and stadium jumping. But most important for her, is making learning fun for her horses.

Cindy Carpenter

Region 1 Media Specialist
(DE, DC, MD, NC, NJ, VA & WV)

Born and raised in Southern California, graduated from Cal State Fullerton, she ultimately landed in the beautiful horse town of Southern Pines, NC. This town is the place she dreamed of as a child while playing with her Breyers and pretending to be a horse while jumping fences in her backyard.

She brings to SAGA Equine over 20 years experience in horse ownership, small business, retail management, event coordination, sales, marketing, and media buying. Cindy likes the fast pace of the media industry and that it is always changing. She understands what it’s like to be a client and a buyer and relates that experience to the client experience.

Cindy has always loved horses and grew up riding English and showed Hunters/Jumpers in her youth, and got her first horse at  age 13. Now she is focused on enjoying her horses for fun, connection, exercise, and maybe a Dressage show in the future.

Pictured here with her OTTB JC Hard Being Me, aka Harvey, she also has two senior horses, Milton and Giorgio, that enjoy the lush pastures and seasons of NC. Don’t be surprised if you hear her office assistants barking, George (Black Lab) and Molly (the best Mutt/Hound Mix) they like to give media advice too!
